someone doesn’t want me to enjoy my coop term…

getting here was absolute hell, what with the extremely late visa, extremely late train tickets (for a train that was canceled anyways), extremely broken suitcase, and then an EXTREMELY late bus.. but everything changed the second I saw that Manhattan skyline at 3am when I finally entered the city.  Suddenly all the stupid little things that seemed like the biggest pain in the ass mean nothing because I’m finally here.

I may only have 20 dollars in my pocket but I’m a New Yorker now, dammit.
